Charity

The Mangia 876 charity was created in September 2012 ahead of the first Mangia 876 event. Its main purpose is to provide educational and cultural support to children and young people in the care system in Jamaica. It proposes to do this by supporting local care homes and their occupants directly and indirectly.

Five percent of Mangia 876 profits will be set aside for the Mangia 876 Trust.

First Contribution- St. Andrew Parish Church Home for Girls

At an informal event on Sunday Mangia 876 made its first charitable donation to the St. Andrew Parish Church Home for Girls . We pledged £1500 for the specific purpose of education. The Home accessed funds to pay examination fees for one resident in 2013.
